I am making this thread so you Role Playing Wrestling writers understand how we are scoring your role plays. Let me tell you how I view this type or role play. I feel that if you are to RP in any form, you need to write well. That includes spelling and grammar. Now, I understand that mistakes happen, etc, however if you are writing poorly every rp, this is going to affect your scoring and ultimately the outcome of your match.
** RP's will be judged by multiple people. No less than 2 judges. The more judges the better or worse your score can be.**
1. Spelling and Grammar
* You wouldn't want to read a book, magazine, or blog that had constant poor grammar and spelling, would you? This is how I feel about role plays as well. I will be one of the people judging the RP's on a regular basis and in order or me to have fun with this, you need to do your part and write not just for yourself, but those who are reading it. That is part of rp. Keep it well-written, or as well-written as you can. I can tolerate learning and people getting better as they go on. If we see you trying, we will take that into account as well.
2. Dialogue
* The dialogue between two or more characters is important when you are writing it. You must have some sort of dialogue in one or both of your RP's. This means talking between characters, such as interviews, personal conversations, etc. However, it also means inner dialogue of just your character. It is not needed to have dialogue between two or more characters each RP. ****Journal Entries will not be tolerated as an RP entry.
3. Creativity
*The creativity you put forth in your RP will be looked at. If your RP's are basically the same thing every.single.time..it will start to wear on your scoring. Be creative with your character and who they are in personality and find things that won't bore us week to week.
4. Overall likability
* Yes, this may seem 'unfair', however this is part of the scoring. This is why we do more than one person judging each card and match. You will not be judged on bias of whether or not the judge likes YOU or not. No, it's the likability of your writing and RP that week. Don't bore us. Keep us entertained and drawn in. This isn't a book, obviously, but we should still enjoy your storyline that you create for your character, as well as be able to read through the whole thing without wanting to skim over parts. We want to know what is coming next. Not every rp is going to be edge of the seat awesome, some are going to be a lot more plain, we understand that, but we need to be able to LIKE your RP in some sense.
Some pointers
People love a well played bad guy.
People love a hero.
